Well Kohl has been gone for 5 months! Can you believe that? That's almost a quarter of the time he will serve already behind him. I think about him everyday and pray he is happy and healthy. I don't want anyone forgetting he is in Canada serving the Lord, so my blog is about him. This is a picture of the Saskatoon East Zone Conference, Kohl is the sixth one from the left. He is almost 6'4" but that is hard to tell in this picture cause everyone in the back row looks at least that tall or taller. His Mission President is Pres. Morgan he is the white haired man with the striped tie. Kohl is doing well, the work is slow in the Winnipeg mission. They have just over 100 baptisms in a year in the whole mission. The mission is large, it takes up Manitoba, Saskatchewan, 1/2 of Ontario, a tiny piece of Alberta and a really tiny piece of Minnesota. Kohl is in Saskatoon, it's a college town, a lot of younger people and first nation (Indians) live there. It has been really cold this winter in Saskatoon (-40) the mission Pres. says every missionary cold, but none frozen. Kohl and his companion walk 10 to 15 miles a day (yes they have a car) trying to find people who want to hear about the Gospel. Kohl has lost 25lbs. since he has been out (he says its from all the walking) He gets to cook a lot, I guess the other Elders don't have quite as much experience in this area. I am so proud of him....it takes a certain kind of man to prepare his whole live, to give 2 years of his live to serve the Lord. A Big shout out to Kohl, and all the Missionaries serving all over the world!Thursday, April 5, 2007

Look at all those handsome missionaries! It's quite extroidinary to see so many men with one common goal of spreading good. Way to go Kohl!
Kohl definitely is the best looking one in the bunch... and looks like the most spiritual... and the most hard working.... and the most dedicated... and the most.... oh well, you get the picture!
Whoo Hoo! Rock on little bro. You know, it takes a really humble older sister to be able to be so proud of her little brother. I don't know why nobody is praising me.
